ABOUT HENRY
I've worked in the barbering industry in Norfolk for several years, and have been looking to open a unique and interesting barber shop to deliver high quality hair and beard services. I attended school in nearby Wells-next-the-Sea, followed by college in Fakenham before training as a barber.
ABOUT THE SHOP
It’s believed the shop building was constructed in the mid-fifteenth century and was used originally as pilgrimage accommodation, although the facade was replaced in the eighteenth century. Opened in 2020, the Tudor Barber Shop takes inspiration from the period and location.
ABOUT LITTLE WALSINGHAM
The North Norfolk village of Little Walsingham has been a centre of pilgrimage since 1061, and has been visited by many English kings, including Henry III, Edward II and Henry VIII. It continues to draw thousands of pilgrims and tourists every year, and has an important place in England’s history.
